Canadian Xpress® Great Lakes Float Tour


Introduction
The Great Lakes are the largest group in a chain of deep freshwater lakes that lies along the southern boundary of the Canadian Shield. From west to east the Great Lakes comprise of Lake Superior, Lake Michigan, Lake Huron, Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.

The Great Lakes have a total area of approximately 244,100 square kilometers and hold about 22,671 cubic kilometers of water and drop from 183 meters above sea level at Lake Superior to 74 meters at Lake Ontario.

The Canadian Xpress® Great Lakes Float Tour consists of 24 legs that must be flown in order. Starting in Lake Michigan, you will fly over 1,300 nm stopping at various cities along the Great Lakes.

All Canadian Xpress® pilots that successfully complete the tour will receive 25 bonus hours as well as the Canadian Xpress® Great Lakes Float Tour Award that will appear in their Pilot Details section of the Pilot Roster.
