November 05, 2010 - November Challenge Announcement Thanks to some early season frost the Pelee Island vineyards are ready to ship grapes to the Niagara region for production of this year’s Ice Wine.

The problem is the storms that brought that early season frost also did some damage to the ferry docks at Pelee Island. It’s only minor damage and is not holding up regular tourist traffic; however the repairs are causing an issue for larger vehicles getting off the ferry. So all large vehicle traffic has been stopped until December 1st. More
