August 10, 2019 - Canadian Xpress® August 2019 Fly-In - Turn Around Day The Alaskan Cruise Ship season is in full swing. More than a dozen ships are making the weekly trips between Seattle and Vancouver for a taste of some of nature’s beauty along the Alaskan Coastline. For the ship and her crew, it’s a round trip, however for the passengers its only one way before they have to climb back aboard an aluminum tube and head back for reality.

Canadian Xpress® would like to invite all pilots to join us Saturday, August 24th at 10h00edt (14h00z) and 21h00edt (Sunday 01h00z) for our August 2019 fly-in where we will fly from Juneau (PAJN) to Vancouver (CYVR). More

August 05, 2019 - Canadian Xpress® August 2019 Challenge - Short and Heavy I For the August and September monthly challenges we will be flying the shortest regularly scheduled flights with the two heaviest airliners; the Boeing 747-400 and the Airbus A380-800 which are available to all pilots regardless of ran, but only for the challenge. These flights are single leg scheduled flights and not a stopover or short hop as part of a longer route.

This month, we fly the shortest scheduled flight for the Boeing 747. The 250-mile flight between Tokyo (RJAA) and Osaka (RJOO). This flight operated for many years with the 747 running at max passenger capacity for the 747-400. Today this flight operates several times daily using the Airbus A321, Boeing 777-300 and Boeing 787-8. More
